Our vintage troughs are each completely unique. Once used to hold water for animals in Indonesia, we're excited to be able to give them a new purpose in life.

Use them as planters, water features or maybe even a sink... Options are endless!
Being vintage, each has it's own beautiful shape with quirks that reflect their age and use.

These vintage troughs should be properly treated for the intended purpose. If using as a planter, we suggest adding a drainage hole and a lining. If using as a fountain or sink we suggest professional installation and, again, the inclusion of a lining/sealant to protect your beautiful piece and ensure longevity.

Due to the weight and bulky nature of this item, freight will be calculated after checkout. OPTIONAL ADD ONS:

DIY OPTIONS: Please note, if you want to DIY your own fountain using one of our troughs, pumps can be purchased via the 'Hardware' section on our website. You can also add a copper spout so your pump comes ready to go with a spout pre-cut to your required height

SEALING: Sealing your piece involves thoroughly scrubbing the internals with a wire brush and removing sediment with a vacuume. We then seal any large/open cracks or suspicious looking sections with either a cement render or Sikaflex. Finally, we apply 3-5 coats of Shalex clear rubber sealant. Your piece is filled with water for a minimum of 4 hours to check for leaks prior to sending. This service is $100, estimated 10 day turnaround. (Drainage is an optional add on at no cost) Please note, we buy our sealant in bulk and do not sell it for DIY use, we suggest purchasing a smaller quantity from your local tiler or Bunnings if you have opted for DIY. 

FOUNTAIN CONVERSION: Includes the above (only all fountains are rendered). Once sealed a hole is drilled to allow for power (standard pumps come with a 10m cord, solar come with a 5m cord). Pumps includes a 2 year warranty. You will be consulted re placement of the power cord and height of the spout. Once finished the fountain is run for a 4hr period to ensure no leaks are present. Estimated 2 week turnaround

** Gooseneck spouts are not a one size fits all and installation is more intricate/requires you to supply parts dependant on how/where you are planning on placing your fountain.
