Each of Kim Drew’s ceramic pieces is handcrafted on the Bellarine Peninsula using sustainable practices and materials foraged from the local environment. Kim uses a method called Saggar Firing, where native flora, seaweed, and other organic waste materials are combusted in a sealed vessel. This process releases natural oxides and minerals that imprint unique patterns, colours, and textures directly onto the clay—without the need for synthetic glazes or chemicals.

All pieces are sealed with liquid quartz, a food-safe, non-toxic coating made from silicon dioxide—one of Earth’s most abundant natural compounds—ensuring they are stain-resistant and safe for everyday use.
